This is me, Phil.

Hi I’m Phil, I’m 38, married to a beautiful and most caring soul-mate ever with 2 incredible children (11 & 14) and live in New Brunswick, Canada. For 15 long years I worked in the Corporate Rat-Race and although I initially enjoyed the job, time and the negativity took it’s toll. You see, I was basically paid to be the complaint department and argue with people from management, my colleagues and the union. I first took the position of Shop Steward or District Chairperson of the Union so that I could help others. I could be the voice for those who didn’t have one or couldn’t find it. I was there to defend the rights of members and ensure the company did not take advantage or overstep it’s agreement with the Union. I was a “freedom fighter” or so I thought. I did a great deal of good, although some might beg to differ.

The point is that it was highly stressful and took a great deal of my time. Not only did I have to put in 45+ hours at the office I had to come home and continue to deal with the effects of emails, phone calls, letters and attend meetings outside normal company hours, all in the name of being the leader. I was missing out on the things that were truly important to me, my family and living life. Instead I was barely existing.

Well one day my 10 year old daughter (at that time) came to me and said, “Daddy, you’re never home, can you please quit your job so you can stay home with us?“. Well suffice it to say she broke my heart in two. I realized then how much of a work-a-holic I’d become and all that I was missing out on. I vowed then and there that I’d make a change in my own life. I went out on a quest to find the perfect opportunity for me and my family.

I wanted to work for myself and preferrably from home. Everything I’d ever read said “that in order to be successful one must do something one enjoys”. I needed to find my purpose. After reading many books on self-help and personal development I came across a movie called “The Secret”, I’m sure you’ve heard of it. Well it transformed my life. I understood that I could manifest any type of business I wanted as long as I believed and followed the Laws of Attraction. Well, within a week I did exactly that. I found a business opportunity that allows me to work from home in the arena of Personal Development! I was getting to improve myself, help others in a positive way, and attend to my family as well as finally LIVE my life! ( www.CreateAbsoluteFreedom.com )

Within 4 short months I was able to release myself from the captivity of my J.O.B. and really feel what it’s like to live. I have total freedom now. We don’t realize how much we are captive and restricted in our jobs. I no longer have to ask for permission to do something, call in sick and feel guilty, be at the whim of a boss or have my income capped by a bunch of shareholders. My life is mine again and the abundance all around us is there for the making! I can do whatever I want, whenever I want and however I want.
