The Lifestyle…

By Phil Tanguay

Being an entrepreneur has changed so many aspects of my life. Not only did it allow me to walk away from my corporate job, it gave me freedom and a lifestyle that is truly incredible. Since starting my new business where I primarily work from home, I get to spend a lot more quality time with my family. I’m there when my kids get home from school. I’m there for meals and school events like plays, sporting events and to help out with projects and homework.

I’m also free to go about my day as I feel. I no longer have to ask permission to do anything or punch a time clock or answer to people that know less than I do. It is one of the best feelings in the world to be able to decide on a whim that I’m going to the beach mid-week, while everyone else I know is at work, in a board room or griping about their job. Far too often we take our freedom for granted. Our lives are consumed with the “rat-race” and for what? To please a boss or make a bunch of faceless shareholders rich? Nope, not for me anymore.

Seeing as my business is so portable I also get to be very mobile. I can be anywhere with just a phone and a laptop or internet access and conduct business easily. In fact I’ve been able to travel more in the last year than I have in the last 10 years combined. You see, my business is all about personal development. Learning how to reach one’s own peak potential and realize goals that we set for ourselves. I get to attend events with the company I represent, which are held all over the world. I also get to vacation more frequently. This year I’ve been to Florida, Calfornia, Hawaii, Italy, the Bahamas, Montreal, Toronto just to name a few. Have a look at a few of the places I’ve been with my family.

What job will ever give you freedom, flexibility, autonomy and an income of six-figures PLUS (and in a fraction of the time). seriosuly how many people do you know that are extremely wealthy and got there by working a job for someone else? Most of the really successful ones got to where they are because they went into business for themselves where the possibilities are endless.
